The 3rd Institute of Solomon Islands Accountants (ISIA) Annual Congress concluded this afternoon following two days of discussions on economic development, public financial management, accounting standards, digital transformation, workforce capability, governance, financial reporting and transparency, sustainability and the future of the accounting profession.
ISIA acknowledged keynote speaker, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, Mr. Dennis David, for providing insights into Government and recognizing the important role of the accounting and finance profession in strengthening governance, accountability and economic development in Solomon Islands.
ISIA also expressed its appreciation to the speakers, panelists and presenters for sharing their knowledge, challenging participants' thinking and encouraging them to look beyond what they already know.
Delegates were thanked for their questions, participation, openness and willingness to share their experiences throughout the Congress.
ISIA also acknowledged its sponsors for believing in the vision of the Congress and supporting the continued development of the accounting profession.
As the 3rd ISIA Annual Congress comes to a close, participants are encouraged to carry forward the three words at the heart of this year's theme:
